A painting of the stores on Quimper Square, Cruises Street, Limerick, thronged with shoppers on an early Saturday evening, umbrellas out in force to combat the drizzle, and the warm glow of oranges and yellows in the shop windows contrasting with the blue reflections on the the cobbled street. A bronze statue of a woman playing the bodhran, by Rowan Gillespie, oversees the scene from her pedestal.
