Title:
Wicklow Street, Dublin - 356
Artist:
Chris McMorrow
Medium:
Limited Edition Print
Desc:
A colourful painting of a view of Wicklow Street looking towards Grafton Street direction on a rainy day in Dublin city centre. Up to 1838 it was part of Exchequer Street but the residents petitioned the City Fathers to change the name as it was difficult to find decent tenants to rent the properties because of the bad rep Exchequer Street had at the time! Am sure they have no problem nowadays - it still holds a place on the posh side of the Monopoly board.
