  • In this acrylic seascape painting there are two little boys with a bucket and net searching among the rock pools for crabs, pinkeens or any kind of marine life that will capture their attention. In the background is the Martello Tower that features in James Joyce's opening scene in Ulysses. Bloomsday is celebrated in Sandycove each year on June 16th and the tower now hosts a small Joycean museum.
