  • The Italian Quarter is a relatively new little district in Dublin city, just beside the River Liffey on Ormond Quay and, as you may have guessed, full of restaurants with an Italian flavour. As in this acrylic painting people can dine al fresco but as it's Dublin, Ireland, it's best to sit near the braziers for comfort and warmth. As evidenced by the umbrellas in this canvas, it is raining, but that doesn't dampen the spirits of the diners too much.
