Henry Street, Dublin on a cold damp December afternoon, the street traders set up for Christmas with their candystripe awning stalls, crowds of people looking for stocking fillers and bargains and the lights of Arnotts and other stores burning brightly in this vibrant acrylic painting.
Henry Street was named after the Earl of Drogheda, Henry Moore, who designed and constructed it. Other streets named after the Earl include Moore Street, Earl Street and Drogheda Street.
