This one was painted close to Valentines Day, whilst doffing my cap to the photographer Robert Doisneau and his iconic photo 'Le baiser de l'Hôtel de Ville' , depicting a couple kissing in a Paris street .... another stolen moment ... even if it was staged!
These days I think its just tourist couples that have the time to stop and do this in the middle of the street .... probably just after they stuck a 'love padlock' somewhere on the Halfpenny Bridge! Ahhh romantic lovers on tour. Acrylic on 20x14 inch stretched canvas
