Enzo MONTANA was born in France in 1952. After graduating from National Art school he combined his passion for gardening with his painting.
Enzo’s daily practice is to carry his camera with him and capture any flowers in gardens at different moments of the day. This habitual pursuit to uncover the delicacies of the plant world are what make his work so truly striking.
His colours and textures create an almost 3d effect, where you find yourself falling into the magnitude of the flower he has painted. This detail of the shift of light, the reflection that bounces from one end of the canvas to the other makes the flower almost real.
The simplicity of each painting is a testament to the technique and execution of an Artist of this calibre and experience.
